CAREER:
Has played in two games as a reserve on the offensive line . . . Redshirted his first season on campus . . . Back surgery curtailed his sophomore campaign . . . Came to the Bulldog football program after working on both sides of the football during his high school career.
2006:
Underwent back surgery during preseason camp, essentially ending his sophomore season . . . Moved to second on the depth chart at right offensive tackle with an injury-free spring.
2005:
Played in two games during his redshirt freshman season, seeing back-up action at offensive tackle . . . Made his first career appearance in Mississippi State’s season-opening 38-6 win over Murray State . . . Was on the field for 19 offensive snaps against the Racers with one knockdown block . . . Also saw action during Week 10 work at Arkansas . . . Continued his maturation along the offensive line during spring 2005 . . . Saw increased work at offensive tackle and finished the four-week session second at left offensive tackle.
2004:
Sat out the season as a true freshman redshirt.

Named one of the top 56 offensive tackles in the country by Max Emfinger in his online national senior database . . . Ranked as one of the top 60 offensive linemen in the southeast by PrepStar magazine in its pre-season edition . . . Ranked as the #19 player overall in the state of Mississippi, the third-best offensive lineman, by Superprep magazine in its year-ending All-America Issue . . . Ranked with the top 15 players in the state of Mississippi by the Forrest Davis Football Recruiting Annual, the second-best offensive lineman on the list . . . Credited with running 5.0 in the 40 by The Insiders’ recruiting site . . . Ranked with the top 40 recruits in the state of Mississippi by the Jackson Clarion-Ledger following his senior season at Lamar School in Meridian, Miss. . . . Played both offensive tackle and defensive end on the prep level . . . Played in the Mississippi Private Schools Associaton all-star game following his senior campaign . . .
