Led the club with 51 catches for 518 yards, a 10.2-yard per catch average, and three touchdowns . . . Finished sixth in the Southeastern Conference in catches per game (4.2) . . . 2007:
Played in all 13 games of his sophomore season, earning one starting call . . . Made two catches for 50 yards on the season . . . Added a pair of special teams tackles . . . Earned one wide receiver starting position to open the season for Mississippi State against LSU . . . Recorded the first stats of his sophomore season during Week 2 action vs. Tulane in the Superdome . . . Had one catch for 33 yards in the club’s 38-17 triumph over the Green Wave . . . Made his second catch of the year, a 17-yarder, in State’s Week 10 victory over nationally No. 21-ranked Alabama.
2006:
Sat out the season to establish his transfer eligibility.
2005:
Led Division I-AA Morehead State University in receiving as a true freshman . . . Had 28 receptions for 361 yards, a 12.9-yard average, and one touchdown . . . Also rushed twice for 18 yards . . . Helped head coach Matt Ballard’s Morehead State team to an 8-4 overall record and a Pioneer Conference championship . . .
PREP SCHOOL:
Played at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., to cap his prep career . . . Played defensive back at Hargrave . . . Ran a 4.51 40-yard dash at the Hargrave following the 2004 season . . . Helped lead his prep school team to an 8-3 overall record.

Played for head coach Keith Daniel at Monacan High School in Richmond, Va. . . . Helped lead the Chiefs to a 9-1 record during his senior season . . . Also a standout track sprinter
