Pressed into service from the outset of his Mississippi State career on the Bulldog offensive line . . . Has played in 12 games during his career, earning six starting calls . . . Was a highly recruited junior college offensive tackle who also starred on the high school level in the state of Mississippi.
2006:
Played in 12 games during his junior season with six starting calls to his credit . . . Earned six straight starts at offensive tackle from Week 2-7, his streak coming to a halt due to injury . . . Played every snap four-straight times (Week 3-6) . . . Did not start, but was on the field for 34 of a possible 56 offensive snaps in State’s season opener with South Carolina . . . Graded out at a respectable 74 percent with three knockdown blocks against the Gamecocks . . . Got the starting call at left offensive tackle during Week 2 work vs. Auburn . . . Was on the field for 47 of the 58 offensive snaps against the Tigers, earning a 75 percent blocking grade . . . For the third-straight week, he improved his blocking grade in Week 3 action vs. Tulane . . . Was on the field for all 72 offensive snaps against the Green Wave, registering an 81 percent blocking mark . . . Had four knockdown blocks against TU . . . Registered an 82 percent blocking grade against the Crimson Tide with four knockdown blocks . . . Helped halfback Anthony Dixon rush for 121 yards against the Alabama defense . . . Played exactly one-half of the offensive snaps (35 of 70) during Week 11 battle with Arkansas . . . Again served in the regular rotation of offensive tackles in the season finale at Ole Miss.

Ranked the No. 67 junior college prospect coming out in 2006, regardless of position, by the Rivals.com recruiting website . . .Credited with running a 4.9-second 40-yard dash by Rivals . . . A J.C. Gridwire second-team, junior college all-America offensive lineman for head coach Glenn Davis at Copiah-Lincoln (Miss.) Community College following his sophomore campaign . . . Rated No. 9 on the Jackson Clarion-Ledger list of the state’s top junior college recruits . . . Named first-team, all-state by the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges . . . Earned pre-season all-America recognition from the National Junior College Athletic Association . . . Earned second-team, all-state recognition as a freshman for the Wolfpack . . .
