2006:
Saw action from the outset of his junior season, both on special teams and as a reserve at tight end . . . Played in all 12 games, earning two starts at the tight end position . . . Caught nine passes for 89 yards, a 9.9-yard average, and one touchdown . . . Recorded his first statistics of the year in Week 2 work against Auburn . . . Had one reception for 9 yards against the Tigers . . . Added another catch (13 yards) one week later against Tulane . . . Made two catches for 17 yards during Week 4 action at UAB, earning the first start of his junior campaign . . . Added another catch in Week 6 action vs. West Virginia, gaining 17 yards . . . Played in eight games during his sophomore season, earning two starts and missing action in three of the season’s first four weeks while recuperating from an injury . . . Caught two passes for 33 yards during the year . . . Suffered a shoulder sprain in game-week practice leading up to MSU’s season opener with Murray State . . . Played, but was limited by the injury, against the Racers . . . Missed the next three weeks while recuperating from the shoulder injury . . . Made the first catch of his sophomore season at Florida in Week 6, gaining 12 yards . . . Recorded a 21-yard pass reception against Alabama in Week 9 . . . Made a pre-spring move from wide receiver inside to tight end and the switch proved dividends almost immediately . . . Proved to be a sure-handed receiver and dependable blocker at the new spot, and moved to the head of the depth chart at tight end . . . Caught one pass (2 yards) in the Maroon and White game, and shared the Most Improved Offensive Player Award for the four-week session with wide receiver Will Prosser.
2004:
Played in all 11 games during his redshirt freshman season, working primarily on special teams, but also seeing some work with the wide receiving corps . . . Earned one start at wide out . . . Caught four passes during the year, gaining 27 yards, with two touchdowns . . . Had all of his catches in the season’s first three games . . . First extensive duty of his career resulted in a career-highlight game . . . Tied for the team lead with three pass receptions during Week 2 work against Auburn, with two of his catches going for Bulldog touchdowns . . . Caught a 1-yard TD throw from Kyle York with 1:23 left in the game to score the first Bulldog points of the day . . . Added a 9-yard scoring reception from York with just 15 seconds left in the game . . . Based upon his performance in that game, he earned a start one week later against Maine at split end in place of an injured McKinley Scott . . . Caught one pass (3 yards) against the Black Bears . . . Made a move up to third on the depth chart at one of the wide out positions with a productive spring . . . Despite missing some time due to injury, he caught two passes for 28 yards in scrimmage work.
