2006:
Played in all 12 games of his true freshman season, working as a reserve in the secondary and on special teams . . . Made 12 tackles on the year and was credited with a pass deflection . . . Made all 12 of his stops in the season’s final six weeks . . . Reached the stats column during the team’s Week 7 win over Jacksonville State . . . Recorded three tackles against the Gamecocks . . . Matched that tackle total one week later at Georgia . . . Made one hit during the Bulldogs’ Week 9 game against Kentucky . . . Registered two tackles and a pass deflection in State’s Week 10 win at Alabama . . . Added another hit one week later against Arkansas . . . That web site also ranked him No. 12 on its postseason list of the top recruits in the state, the second-rated “athlete” . . .
