CAREER:
Saw immediate playing time in the middle of the Mississippi State defensive line following his transfer from junior college . . . Has worked as a reserve at nose and defensive tackle and has seen game action in all 11 contests . . . Has made 15 tackles, with three tackles for loss (minus 12 yards), two and one-half of which are quarterback sacks (minus 10 yards).
Named the Most Improved Defensive Player during the four-week spring practice session after denominating his offensive line counterparts during the off-season workout . . .
