2006 OUTDOOR:
Earned all-America status as a member of the seventh-place 4x400-meter
relay at the NCAA Championships (3:05.00)... Team ran 3:05.20 to finish
eighth in the qualifying round... Ran anhor leg of relay most of
season... At the Mideast Regional, squad qualified for nationals after
finishing third in a season's best 3:03.09, the third best time in the
conference this year... In the open 400, ran 47.35 to finish 22nd...
Finished 13th in the 400-meer dash (47.33) and 10th in the 800-meter
run at the SEC Championships (1:51.84)... 4x4 won Penn Relays (3:06.54)
and Alabama Relays (3:16.92)... In the sprint medley relay, won LSU
Tiger Relays in a season's best 3:19.57... SMR was second at the FSU
Snowbird (:31.26)... Finished second in the 4x4 at Bulldog Invitational
(3:08.40)... Ran third leg of fifth-place 4x200-meter relay at the
Texas Relays (1:24.50)... Ran first legs of third place 4x4's at the
FSU Snowbird and Jace Lacoste Invitational.
ARKANSAS STATE
Sun Belt conference indoor and outdoor champion in the 400-meter
dash... An all-Region selection in the 400... Competed at the 2005 NCAA
National championships in Sacramento, Calif.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Ran for Glen LeBlanc at New Iberia (La.) High School... Earned for
letters in track and cross country... 2003 indoor state champion in the
800-meter run... Finished second in the outdoor 800 in 2003 and took
third in 2002... An all-State selections... Named team MVP twice...
Also lettered in football... Named NIHS Outstanding Receiver... Wendy's
High School Heisman state finalist... Member of 4-H... Honored with the
American Legion and Daughters of the American Revolution awards.
OTHER COMPETITION
Won 800 at the 2004 USA Youth Outdoor rack and Field Championships...
At 2004 USATF Junior Olympics, team ran 3:15.05 in the 4x400-meter
relay to qualify for the 2005 IAAF World Youth Championships... Ran the
800 at AAU Nationals in 2003 (third) and 2004 (second).
