2006 OUTDOOR:
Earned all-America status as a member of the seventh-place 4x400-meter
relay at the NCAA Championships (3:05.00)... Team ran 3:05.20 to finish
eighth in the qualifying round... Ran third leg of relay most of
season... At the Mideast Regional, squad qualified for nationals after
finishing third in a season's best 3:03.09, the third best time in the
conference this year... Also ran the 400-meter dash at the regional
meet, placing 24th (47.52)... Finished fifth at the SEC Championships
in the 4x4 (3:10.10) and eighth in the 4x1 (41.34)... In the open 400
at the SEC meet, finished 17th (47.56)... Relay won Auburn Invitational
(3:05.43), Jace Lacoste Invitational (3:07.98) and FSU Snowbird
(3:09.37), all regional qualifying marks... In the 400, finished third
at the Jace Lacoste Invitational (46.40) to qualify for the regional
meet... Took sixth at the Texas Relays in the 4x4 (3:06.64)... Ran
third leg of regional qualifying 4x100-meter relay team that won the
Bulldog Invitational title (40.54)... Also ran third leg of second
place 4x1 team at the Alabama Relays... In the sprint medley relay, won
LSU Tiger Relays title in a season's best time of 3:19.57... Ran second
leg of second-place team at the Alabama Relays (3:20.31)... In the
4x200-meter relay, ran third legs of second-place teams at Alabama
(1:24.72) and LSU (1:25.18)... Ran second leg of fifth-place team at
Texas Relays (1:24.50).
2005 OUTDOOR:
Named an all-American in the
4x400-meter relay... Ran the second leg of the fifth place 4x400-meter
relay team at the NCAA Championships... Team ran 3:01.80, setting a new
MSU school record... At the Mideast Regional, ran the third leg of the
4x100-meter relay (39.57)... Finished seventh in the open 400 at the
Mideast Regional (46.65)... Ran third leg of 4x200-meter relay at Penn,
clocked the second fastest time in school history in the prelims,
posting the top qualifying time in 1:21.31... Finished thid in the
finals in 1:21.77... In the 4x400, ran second leg that ran fastest
qualifying time in 3:05.16 and third in the finals in 3:03.44, the
third fastest in school history... Ran first leg of 4x100 at Penn
(40.92)... Met a regional mark at the LSU Alumni Gold in the 400,
finishing sevent (47.07)... Also ran the 200-meter dash... Set a
regional qualifying mark in a third-place finish in the 400 (46.17) and
finished second in the 200-meter dash at the Jace Lacoste
Invitational... Ran third leg of winning 4x200-meter relay at Texas
(1:21.62)... Ran second leg of sixth-place 4x4 relay team which ran a
regional qualifying time of 3:05.45... Won the 400-meter run at the
Bulldog Invitational in a regional qualifying time of 46.98... Also
finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a regional mark and personal
best of 21.01... Ran first leg of 4x1 relay team that won in a regional
time of 40.46... Ran third leg of winning 4x200-meter relay team at
Alabama (1:21.34), a new Alabama Relays record... Ran second leg of the
winning 4x400 team that set a regional qualifying mark of 3:05.84...
Ran third leg of sprint medley relay team that won in 3:17.82.
2004 OUTDOOR:
Named an all-American in the outdoor
4x400-meter relay... Part of team that finished third at the NCAA
Championships in the 4x400-meter relay (3:03.57)...Finished 13th in the
4x100-meter relay at the NCAA Championships (39.70)... Team captured
third place in the 4x4 at the at the Mideast Regional...Finished 13th
in the 200-meter dash (21.09) at the Mideast Regional...In the Mideast
Regional prelims, ran the 400-meter dash in 46.36...Finished eighth in
the regional finals of the 400 with a time of 46.94... At the SEC
Championships, 4x400-meter relay team finished second and met a
regional qualifying mark (3:03.42)...Competed in the 200-mete dash at
the SEC Championships, finished 17th in the prelims... Helped team win
the 4x200-meter relay at both the Texas Relays (1:22.9) and Penn Relays
(1:22.53)...Part of the teams that won the 4x100-meter relay at the
Bulldog Invitational (40.06) and Jace Lacoste Invitational (40.67)...
Earned a fifth place finish in the 200-meter dash at the Bulldog
Invitational (21.06), while setting a regional qualifying mark...Placed

HIGH SCHOOL:
Earned all-American honors his junior
and senior years... Named two-time Alabama Runner of the Year... Won
seven Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A event state
championships and one 5A team title while at Lillie B. Williamson High
School... His senior year state titles were in the 100- meter dash
(11.02), 200-meter dash (21.41) and 400-meter dash (46.80)... Broke the
Alabama 5A 400-mete dash record his junior year with a time of
46.58...Named Most Valuable Performer in 2002... His time of 46.58 in
the 400-eters in 2002 ranked third in the country by Dyestat.com...
Earned MVP honors at the Meet of Champions... Named the 2002 Mobile
Register Athlete of the Year... Named to the Mobile all-Metro team
three times... Honored twice as runner of the week... Member of his
high school's National Honor Society, Brain Boil team and Honor Roll...
Served as a senior class officer... Also participated n football and
basketball.

Arthur Lebaron Davis was born Nov. 11, 1983, in Frankfurt,
Germany...The son of Rosemary and Arthur Davis, Sr....Majoring in
elementary education.
