2006 CROSS COUNTRY:
Won the Sewanne Invite with a time of 26:04.30... Named the SEC Athlete
of the Week for his performance... Posted three top 20 finishes during
the campaign... Finished 15th at the SEC Championships (24:41.66) to
lead all Bulldog runners.
2006 OUTDOOR:
At the SEC Championships, scored in the
steeple, taking seventh with a personal-best 8:59.42, the second-best
time in school history... Also finished 16th in the 5000-meter run
(14:37.63)... Won the 3000-meter run at the Bulldog Invitational,
running a Maddox Track and MSU school-record 8:26.51... Took fourth in
the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Texas Relays, ran a regional
qualifying 9:00.35... Met an NCAA?regional qualifying mark with a win
in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase at the LSU Tiger Relays
(9:00.39)... Recorded the fifth-best time in school history in the
5000-meter run, posting a time of 14:25.14 in a third-place finish at
the FSU Snowbird... At the Alabama Relays, ran the opening leg of the
third-place distance medley relay (10:25.53) and anchored the 4x800
team (7:52.16).
2005 CROSS COUNTRY:
Finished 28th at the SEC
Championships (24:18.06) and NCAA South Regional (31:37.71)... Helped
lead MSU to their first team title since 1996 by winning the Belmont
Opener in 15:04.08... At the Crimson Classic, finished fifth in
25:20.15... Ran 24:46.93 to place 29th at the Auburn Invitational...
Finished 67th at the Notre Dame Invitational, running 25:07.
2005 OUTDOOR:
Finished 26th in the event at the
Mideast Regional (9:18.48)... At the SEC Championships, ran 8:59.96 to
finish seventh in the 3000-meter steeplechase... Finished the
3000-meter steeplechase in 9:12.24 at the Penn Relays... Won the
1500-meter run in a personal-best 3:54.41 at the Jace Lacoste
Invitational... Finished sixth in the 3000-meter steeplechase at Texas
with a regional-qualifying 9:02.92... Anchored distance medley relay
(10:14.94)... Finished second in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the
Bulldog Invitational (9:32.05)... Anchored second-place distance medley
relay team at Alabama (10:11.02)... Finished seventh in the 5000-meter
run at FSU (14:46.86) and 11th in the 1500-meter run (4:01.22).
2004 CROSS COUNTRY:
Ran 26:06.36 to finish 68th at
the SEC Championships... Placed 57th at the NCAA South Regional
(32:07.41)... MSU's top finisher at the Auburn Invitational
(26:19.16)... Took 13th at the MSU Short Course (15:48.87)... Opened
the season with an 18th-place finish at the Memphis Twilight Classic
(20:25.62).
2004 OUTDOOR:
Met a regional qualifying mark in the
3000-meter steeplechase, finishing 12th at the Penn Relays (9:06.75)...
Competed at the SEC Championships, running 9:37.23 (11th place)...Took
first in the 1500-meter run at the Jace Lacoste Invitational with a
time of 3:54.68.
2003 CROSS COUNTRY:
Finished 41st at the SEC
Championships (27:02.23) and 74th at the NCAA South Regional
(32:48.27)... Saw the first action of his career at the Bulldog
Invitational where he ran 27:30 to finish eighth... Followed with a
31st-place showing at the Crimson Classic (27:16.97)... At the Auburn
Invitational, ran 26:14.25 top finish 38th... Came away with a
fifth-place finish at the MSU Invitational (15:19.30).
HIGH SCHOOL:
Provincial Champion in cross country as
a senior at Harry Ainlay High School under the guidance of John Bole...
Runner-up in the 800, 1500 and 3000-meter runs as a senior at the
Provincial Championships... Won the Provincial Championships during his
sophomore and junior seasons in cross country, 1500-meter run, 1500
steeplechase and 3000-meter run...Three-time member of the Honors
Standings.
