At the Mideast Regional, finished eighth in the 1500 finals (4:27.18) and preliminaries (4:30.26)... Posted an eighth-place finish in the 1500 at the SEC Championships (4:32.24) after recording the top qualifying time in the event (4:25.75)... Took ninth in the 800-meter preliminaries with a personal-best 2:08.51 and finish eighth in the final (2:09.31)... Ran second leg of 10th-place 4x400-meter relay at the SEC meet, running a season's best 3:51.02... Qualified for the Mideast Regional by winning the 1500-meter run in a regional qualifying 4:22.26, the second-best time in the conference during the season... At the Penn Relays, ran the first leg of the 4x800-meter relay team that finished sixth in the Championship of America event (8:48.59), ran first leg of school-record setting 4x1500 squad, which also ran in the Championship of America section (18:09.43) and ran first leg of sixth-place Championship of?America distance medley relay team that ran a season's best 11:22.29, the second-best time in school history... Took fourth in the mile run (4:50.60) at the SEC Championships... Ran 4:51.20 in the preliminiaries... Ran first leg of 10th-place distance medley relay squad (11:43.77)... Posted a 4:49.69 to finish fifth in the mile run championship at the Tyson Invitational... Ran first leg of third-place distance medley relay squad at Tyson (11:44.82)... 2005 OUTDOOR:
Hampered by an Achilles heel injury throughout the latter part of the season... Finished 16th in the preliminaries of the mile run at the NCAA Championships, running 5:01.24 on the injured foot... Finished third at the SEC Championships... Set a personal best and NCAA provisional qualifying mark at the Terrier Classic, finishing second in 4:42.79... Won the Clemson Invite mile title in 4:49.10... In the 800-meter run, set a personal record by finishing second (top collegiate finisher) at the Purple Tiger Invite... Won the Clemson Invite title in 2:12.34.
2004 CROSS COUNTRY:
Ran 21:46.71 to earn all-South Region honors at the NCAA South Regional... Second at the MSU Short Course (10:26.75)... Crossed the finish line at the Notre Dame Invite in 17:38 to finish 35th... MSU's top finisher at the Auburn Invitational (fifth, 18:29.44)... Opened the year with a 10th place finish at the Memphis Twilight Classic (17:34.27).
2004 OUTDOOR:
Finished 24th at the NCAA Championships in the 1500-meters (4:34.09)... At the Mideast Regional, finished ninth in the 1500-meters (4:32.25)... Placed 11th in the SEC Championships in the 1500-meters with 4:26.60... Ran 2:12.21 in the 800 taking second place at the TCU Invitational... Part of the team that won the distance medley relay at the Texas Relays and set a new school record in the event at 11:10.06... Won the 1500-meter run (4:28.69) at the Bulldog Invitational... Best time of the season in the 1500-meter run was 4:20.8 which came at the Jace Lacoste Invitational.
2004 INDOOR:
Ran on the 4x400-meter relay team that yielded a first-place finish at the Rod McCravy Memorial (3:53.97)... At the SEC Indoor Championships, member of the distance medley relay team that finished second (11:27.54)... In the mile run, met an NCAA provisional qualifying mark, finishing 11th in the prelims at the SEC Indoor Championships (4:55.52).
2003 CROSS COUNTRY:
Finished among the top 50 at the SEC meet... Ran 11:29.50 to finish second at the Memphis Twilight Classic... Came in 20th at the Crimson Classic (19:15.73)... At the Auburn Invitational, ran 18:40.45 to finish 15th... On the MSU Invitational 3K course, finished ninth (10:32.40).
2003 OUTDOOR:
Finished in 11th in the 1500 in the preliminaries of the SEC Outdoor Championships in a time of 4:36.58.... Ran the first leg of the outdoor distance medley relay team that won at the Texas Relays... Set best time in the 800 at the SEC Quad in 2:17.20, finishing fourth... Won the 1500 at the Ole Miss Open (4:34.24)... Runner-up in the 5000-meter run at the Jace Lacoste in 17:41.74... Recorded top time in the 4x400m relay winning the Jace Lacoste in 3:49.41... Took third at the SEC Quad in the 1500-meter run in 4:37.16 and fifth at the TCU Invitational (4:37.12)... Won the 1500 at the Bulldog Invitational in 4:41.61.
2003 INDOOR:
Won the SEC Indoor Championship in the distance medley relay (11:26.39), only relay team in school history to win an SEC Championship... Recorded a 5:06.24 in the mile at the SEC Indoor Championships with a 12th place finish in the preliminaries... Ran the first leg of the distance medley relay team that won the Rod McCravy Memorial with their time of 11:18.04, an NCAA automatic qualifying mark... Set top time in the 800-meter run at the Arkansas State Invitational in 2:14.75, taking fifth... Finished fifth at the Rod McCravy Memorial, running 4:53.94... Finished third in the mile run at the SEC West Challenge in 5:00.65... Won the distance medley relay at the Arkansas State Invitational and Rod McCravy Memorial, running the first leg in both races.
2002 CROSS COUNTRY:
Started her MSU career with a fourth-place finish at the Sewanee Invitational, running 19:20.26... At the Seminole Cross Country Invitational, finished 14th in 19:00.00... Ran 19:20 at the Notre Dame Invitational to finish 119th.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Lettered four years in track and cross country for Al Stout at Skyview High School... Won her cross country team's MVP award all four years... Named Athlete of the Year at Skyview her senior year...Won the Iron Hawk award her junior and senior seasons... Honored as the most valuable distance runner all four years of high school...
