Took 10th in the javelin throw at the SEC Championships (132-03)... Finished 18th in the hammer throw (160-00)... Set MSU freshmen records in two events... At the Penn Relays, threw 133-07 in the javelin and at the Jace Lacoste Invitational, threw 172-02 in a hammer throw win... Set a personal best in the shot put, throwing 40-07 1/2 at the LSU Tiger Relays... Won the hammer throw at the LSU Tiger Relays (165-03)... Posted second-place finishes at the Jace Lacoste Invitational (javelin, 124-04) and Auburn Invitational (hammer, 162-07)... Placed third in the javelin at Auburn (130-11) and hammer at the Bulldog Invitational (172-01).
2006 INDOOR:
Placed 12th in the shot put (43-04 1/4) and 17th in the 20-lb. weight throw (51-03 1/2) at the SEC Championships... Set a personal best in the weight throw by winning the Bayou Bengal Invitational title (51-05 1/2), the fourth-best mark in school history.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Earned High School all-America honors in the weight throw (2004 & 2005) and hammer throw (2004)... Four year letterwinner at Sequoyah HS under Lolita Smith... Two-time state champion in the shot put... Personal records are 44-03 (shot put), 139-06 (discus), 127-09 (javelin), 155-08 (hammer) and 53-0 (weight throw)... Earned two letters in basketball... Member of FCA, SHS Drumline and Prom committee... Named to the Honor Roll.
