Finished 16th in the discus throw at the Mideast Regional (144-09)... In the discus throw, placed 11th at the SEC Championships (146-05) and 14th in the shot put (41-01 3/4)... Qualified for the Mideast Regional by winning the discus title at the Jace Lacoste Invitational (156-00)... Also won the shot put title at the Jace Lacoste (41-09 3/4)... Took second in the discus at the Bulldog Invitational (152-04) and Alabama Relays (147-09)... Finished third at the Auburn Invitational (145-00)... Took third in the hammer (164-00) at the Jace Lacoste, a personal best.
2006 INDOOR:
Finished 10th at the SEC Championships in the shot put with a personal best throw of 43-05 1/4... Placed 19th in the 20-pound weight throw (47-05).
2005 OUTDOOR:
Scored at the SEC meet, finishing eighth in the discus with a personal best throw of 152-07... Placed 12th at the SEC Championships in the shot put (46-06 ?)... Finished fourth in the shot put at the Jace Lacoste Invitational.
2005 INDOOR:
Finished fourth in the 20-lb. weight throw at the Bayou Bengal Invitational with a personal best throw of 49-05 ?.
2004 OUTDOOR:
Placed 21st in the hammer throw with a throw of 142-02 at the SEC Championships... Finished third at the Alabama Relays in the discus (139-09 1/4)... Finished second at the Bulldog Invitational (143-11)... Finished third in the discus at the Jace Lacoste Inviational (142-07).
2004 INDOOR:
Finished 26th at the SEC Championships in the 20-lb. weight throw (47-01 ?)... Placed fifth in the shot put at the Arkansas Invitational with a throw of 41-03 1/4.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Six-time state champion while at A.C. Reynolds HS in Asheville, N.C... 4A State indoor championship in the shot put as a junior and senior... Won the 4A State outdoor championship in the discus in 2001, 2002 and 2003... Won the 4A State outdoor championship in the shot put during her final season... Finished seventh in both the shot and discus at the 2002 adidas Outdoor Championships... Three-time MVP of her team... Served for three seasons as co-captain of the track team... Named to the all-Western North Carolina team as a sophomore...Received the 2002 Asheville Citizen-Times Female Track Athlete of the Year...
