CAREER: Has appeared in 38 career games for the Maroon and White, starting six games at fullback during his career . . . Emerged as a solid fullback and special teamer after walking on to the Bulldog squad out of high school . . . Came to Mississippi State from the traditional high-school hotbed of Olive Branch, Miss.
2011: Played in all 13 games, earning a career-high five starts as the team’s primary fullback . . . Blocked for a running back who finished fourth in the SEC in rushing, while giving up the fifth-fewest sacks in the league . . . As a blocker, helped the 2011 squad reach the top 10 in school history for single-season marks in passing touchdowns, passing completions, total yards and first downs . . . Helped the offense tally multiple rushing touchdowns in games against Memphis, Auburn, Kentucky, UT Martin, Ole Miss and Wake Forest . . .
