STARKVILLE — Mississippi State safety Bralan Womack has been named to the 2026 Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award Watch List, the Maxwell Football Club announced Wednesday.
The prestigious honor recognizes the top freshman player in college football, evaluating candidates based on talent, character, ambassador, and legend attributes.

Known for exceptional ball skills and defensive playmaking, the 6-foot-1, 210-pound safety looks to be a contributor in the Bulldogs’ secondary this fall.
The watch list features 37 candidates from across the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).
