STARKVILLE, Miss. - In Game Two of Mississippi State's Maroon/White World Series, Maroon topped Digi Camo and Gray, 4-2-1, on Friday at Dudy Noble Field.

Sophomore Luke Alexander drove in two of Maroon's four runs in his 2-for-5 day.

Maroon got things started in the first with a two-out RBI double by junior Brent Rooker that hit the wall in the left-center field to drive in junior Tanner Poole. Rooker then found home on an RBI triple to right by sophomore Hunter Stovall.

Digi Camo then responded with an RBI triple by junior Harrison Bragg to drive in senior Cody Brown. Bragg then found home a single by junior Hunter Vansau to tie it up at 2-2-0.

Maroon reclaimed its lead in the third with a two-run double by Alexander that drove in Rooker and Stovall.

Gray found its way on the board in the third with an RBI triple by redshirt freshman Brant Blaylock that scored junior Ryan Gridley.
True freshman Graham Ashcraft pitched a pair of no-hit relief innings for Digi Camo, striking out three batters.
The three-game Maroon/White World Series will conclude on Saturday with first pitch scheduled for 11:05 a.m. Admission is free.
