• Shared the staff lead with a 7-0 record that included a pair of complete-game
pitching performances on the road • Paced the Eagles hurlers with a 2.96 earned
run average and 54 strikeouts in 79 innings of mound duty • Earned All-Region
23 and Miss-Lou All-Conference honors as a sophomore in 2012 •
Fashioned a 6-2 record with a 4.79 earned run average and a staff-best 59
strikeouts in 71.1 innings of rookie season pitching in 2011 • Member of Phi

Lauderdale High School in Collinsville, Miss. • Coached by Mississippi high
school coaching legend Jerry Boatner and a member of WLHS's 2007 and
2009 state championship teams • Paced the Knights at the plate with a .453
batting average, 29 runs scored, a .610 on-base percentage and ranked among
team leaders with 24 hits and 10 extra-base hits • Starred on the mound with an
8-0 pitching mark, three saves and 78 strikeouts in 53.2 innings • Earned
all-state honors as a senior • Piled up 31 career wins at WLHS • Selected to
play in the 2010 Crossroads Diamond Club All-Star Game at Trustmark Park in
Pearl, Miss. • Also paced the WLHS football team with 102 total tackles as a
senior linebacker en route to second-team MAC All-State honors in 2010 •
