2013:
SEC Academic Honor Roll · Played in 47 games, starting 24, mostly as the DH · 2 for 3 with four RBI on May 4 against Alabama, with both hits being doubles · 1 for 3 against Texas A&M on April 13, hitting his lone home run of the season · Was 2 for 4 on March 26 against Austin Peay, driving in three runs and scoring two · Went 3 for 4 with two doubles on March 16 against LSU · Hit a double on March 12 against Southern Miss · On March 10 against Central Arkansas, was 1 for 3 with an RBI · Was 2 for 4 on Opening Day against Portland, driving in a pair of runs.
2012:

Earned second-team NJCAA All-American honors in 2011 to cap his two-year career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, Miss. • Coached by former MSU All-American pitcher Gary Rath • Paced the Bulldogs with a .430 batting average, tallying a team-best 49 hits and nine home runs • Drove in 28 runs and legged out eight doubles • First-team All-Region 23 and MACJC All-State selection • Selected team MVP for 2011 • Hit .379 as a freshman with 44 hits, 10 doubles, nine home runs and 36 RBI en route to second-team 2010 MACJC All-State and MGCCC Rookie of the Year honors.
