2012:
Saw playing time in 13 games and worked behind the plate in 10 games • Made his MSU debut and drew his first MSU career start against Mississippi Valley State (Feb. 25) • Singled in a run with his first career hit in a start behind the dish at Southeastern Louisiana (Mar. 14) • Played in all three games of the Arkansas series, registering a pinch-hit RBI single in the series finale (Mar. 25) • Drew a start in left field two days later and notched another RBI hit against Alcorn State (Mar. 27) • Recorded the game-ending putout as a 10th-inning defensive replacement at first base in State's 4-3 SEC Tournament win over LSU (May 25) • Also saw playing time as a pinch-runner and as a pinch-hitter • Hit .250 (3-for-12) overall and .250 (1-for-4) in seven SEC games • Had 25 error-free defensive chances • Earned a berth on the 2012 SEC Academic Honor Roll • Played summer league baseball for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in the Northwoods Collegiate League.

2010:
Launched his collegiate baseball career at Seton Hall University • Coached by Rob Sheppard • Played in 22 games, making 18 starts as a freshman • Compiled a .217 batting average with six RBI • Recorded a .991 fielding percentage with one pick-off and five base-runners nabbed stealing • Hit .296 with eight starts in nine Big East Conference games played.
