CAREER:
Seasoned fifth-year senior infielder with 119 career starts (77 at third base, 37 at shortstop, five as the DH), 78 RBI and a .303 career batting average over the past three campaigns • Second on the team with 41 career multi-hit games • 138 career hits includes 20 doubles and 20 home runs • Recovered from surgery on both hips the past two years • Four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection • Enrolled in MSU's MBA program after earning his undergraduate banking and finance degree last May • One of five current Bulldogs that played in the 2007 NCAA College World Series.
2009:

2008:
Played in and started all 56 games as a sophomore • Opening day starter at North Florida (Feb. 22) • Hit .274 and ranked third on the team with 59 hits • Started the first 35 games at shortstop and replaced injured regular Connor Powers as the starter at third base the final 21 games • Opened the year with a 12-game hitting streak, longest Bulldog hitting streak in 2008 • Also strung together a mid-season nine-game hitting streak • Tied for second on the team with 16 multiple-hit games • Hit safely in 40 of 56 games and had an RBI in 19 games, both second-best on the team • Set career-high for hits with 3-for-4 outing against Austin Peay (Apr. 1) and matched that with a 3-for-5 game in the series finale at Alabama (Apr. 20) • Went 7-for-12 (.583) with four doubles in that series in Tuscaloosa • Credited with four game-winning RBI, including 11th-inning solo home run in 7-6 win over South Alabama (Mar. 26), a two-run double at Alabama (Apr. 19), and a walk-off RBI single against Arkansas (May 16) • Drew 31 walks, second-most on the team, with at least one free pass in 23 games and two walks in eight contests • Shared the team lead (with Cody Freeman) with five sacrifice bunts • Launched his second and third career home runs in 2008, solo blasts against South Alabama (Mar. 26) and Arkansas (May 15) • Successful on five of six stolen base attempts • Had a hand in 16 of MSU's 43 double plays • Hit .227 in 30 SEC starts • Recognized for his community service efforts with selection to the 2008 SEC Baseball Community Service Team • Named to the 2008 SEC Baseball Academic Honor Roll.

Played in 24 games (13 starts) as a rookie • Hit .315 with three extra-base hits and nine RBI • Started nine games at third base, two as the DH and two at shortstop, including the '07 season-opener against Murray State (Feb. 23) • Singled twice in his debut against Murray State • Singled against Troy (Mar.4) for his first career RBI • Came off the bench for his first career SEC competition against South Carolina (Mar. 23) • Also drew a start at shortstop and went 1-for-4 at the plate in MSU's 4-3 win at Tennessee (Apr. 13) • Moved into MSU's starting lineup over the final 11 games, beginning with the second game of the Alabama series (May 18) • Hit .341 and had hits in 11 of his 13 starts • Notched his three extra-base hits during a season-ending seven-game hitting streak (10-for-26), all in NCAA postseason competition • Registered four multi-hit and three multi-RBI games, all in MSU's NCAA tourney run • Hit .400 (4-for-10) with four RBI in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional to earn a spot on the all-tournament team • Went 3-for-8 against Clemson in the Starkville Super Regional and 3-for-8 in the NCAA College World Series • Delivered his first career extra-base hit with a solo home run in MSU's 3-0 blanking of FSU (June 2) and registered his first game-winning RBI with a two-run, third-inning single in State's 9-4 regional championship-clinching win over Florida State (June 3) • Hit .273 in seven SEC games played (3 starts) • Among 20 MSU players named to the 2007 SEC Baseball Academic Honor Roll.
2006:
Sat out the 2006 season as a redshirt • Among seven Baseball Bulldogs named to the 2006 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Four-year starting infielder and three-sport (baseball, basketball, football) all-state performer at Magnolia Heights School in Senatobia • Coached by Jim Miles • Earned second-team Jackson Clarion-Ledger All-State, first-team All-MPSA and Jackson Clarion-Ledger "Dandy Dozen" honors and MPSA all-star selection as a senior • Hit .422 with seven doubles, 26 runs scored and 24 RBI • Also pitched for the Chiefs, posting a 5-1 record with six complete games and a 1.27 earned run average • Helped guide MHS to a 15-7 mark and a runner-up finish in the 3A state championships • Recipient of the 2005 Don Souder Award as the Mississippi Private School Association's outstanding male student-athlete for 2005 • Hit a career-best .469 and earned second-team All-MPSA honors as a junior • Also starred as a three-year letter-winner in football and basketball, earning first-team All-MPSA and all-star plaudits twice • Tabbed for all-state, all-conference and "Dandy Dozen" honors in both sports • Played summer league baseball for three seasons in Memphis with Dulin's Dodgers • Member of the National Honor Society and the MHS chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes • Served as student council vice president.
