Junior College: Named to the NJCAA Baseball National Team after leading his team to the 2014 NJCAA World Series in Junction, Colorado • Led Chattahoochee Valley Community College to its first state championship in 2014 after being named a NJCAA All-American, ACCC Player of the Year and All-ACCC • Hit .406 with 82 hits, 70 runs, 38 RBIs and four homers • Played at the same junior college as former Bulldog catcher Cody Walker.
COLLEGE: Appeared in 41 games as a freshman at Florida State in 2012 before missing the 2013 season due to injury • Made 16 starts in 2012, 13 as the Seminole designated hitter, two at third base and one at second base • Finished the year hitting .243 (18 for 74) with eight doubles, 10 RBI and 17 runs scored • Earned his first collegiate at-bat on Opening Day against Hofstra Feb. 17 and collected a season-high three assists • Recorded his first collegiate hit and scored his first collegiate run in game one of a doubleheader against Maine on March 4, singling to left and scoring in the sixth • Earned his first career start against Virginia Tech April 1 and posted career highs with three hits, three runs and two doubles • Finished the game against the Hokies a perfect 3 for 3 and reached base in all five of his plate appearances • Led all Seminoles hitting .600 (6 for 10) against Miami (Fla.) with five RBIs as four of his six hits were doubles • Picked up a pinch hit double in game one against the Hurricanes April 20 • Tied a career high with three hits in game two against Miami April 21, while driving in a pair • Recorded two doubles in the series finale against the Canes April 22 while driving in three runs in leading FSU to a sweep • Hit .324 in 18 ACC games • Appeared in seven of FSU’s nine NCAA Tournament games, as six of his 12 walks on the year came in the postseason • Came through with a two-run game-tying double in the top of the sixth with two outs in the first meeting against Arizona June 15 at the College World Series • The hit led to extra innings • Walked twice and scored two runs in an elimination game against Stony Brook in Omaha, Nebraska • Played summer ball with the Covington Lumberjacks of the Valley League.
High School: Named first-team all-region as a senior and second-team all-region as a sophomore • Earned Rawlings preseason All-America honors at the start of his junior season • Garnered Defensive Player of the Year accolades as a senior and junior and was named Offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore at Northview High • Member of the Dugout Club All-Tournament team as a sophomore and junior • Hit over .400 as a sophomore (.416), junior (.456) and senior (.420).
