2016: Made 20 appearances as a junior, all in relief • Owned a 2-2 record with five saves and a 2.93 ERA • Struck out 31 batters over 27.2 innings pitched and held batters to a .168 average • Made his Maroon and White debut on Feb. 21 against South Dakota State, tossing a pair of one-hit, shutout innings to pick up his first victory as a Bulldog • Pitched 1.1 perfect innings to close out the game against UMass Lowell on Feb. 26 to pick up his first collegiate save, striking out four batters • Earned the win with 3.0 innings pitched at Southern Cal on March 5 • Struck out all three batters he faced in a March 8 matchup against South Alabama • Struck out two batters on March 18 at Vanderbilt in an inning of work • Pitched a career-high 3.2 innings of relief with four strikeouts to earn the save at Alabama on April 28 · In 1.2 innings against Troy on May 11, struck out two batters and allowed just one hit en route to picking up a save • Pitched the final out with a strikeout in a Southeastern Conference Tournament showdown with Alabama, earning a save • Earned his fifth save of the year on June 4 against Cal State Fullerton in the Starkville Regional, striking out three in 2.2 innings • Tied his career high for strikeouts with four against Arizona in the Starkville Super Regional on June 11.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Led SSCC to conference championships in both seasons on campus • Recorded a 0.45 ERA as a sophomore, the lowest single-season ERA in school history • Struck out 34 batters in 40.0 innings in 2015 • Made his college debut in 2014 with 31 strikeouts and a 1.69 ERA in 32.0 innings • Played summer ball in 2015 with former MSU teammate Cody Brown for the Bethesda Big Train in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League • Helped lead the Big Train to the CRCBL League Championship Series, where he tossed a scoreless inning in relief • Finished the summer with a 1.19 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 17.2 innings, making 17 relief appearances • Held opposing hitters to a .207 average.
HIGH SCHOOL: All-County shortstop as a senior after hitting .346 with a .443 on-base percentage, tallying 28 hits, 24 runs, 24 RBIs and 22 stolen bases • Also struck out 56 batters in 39.0 innings his final prep campaign • Recorded a 1.38 ERA with 82 strikeouts in 55.2 innings en route to all-state honors as a junior in 2012 • All-county pitcher as a sophomore with a 2.48 ERA and 54 strikeouts in 42.1 innings • All-area third baseman as a freshman • Team captain on the football team.
