2014: Pitched in nine games with three starts, going 2-0 with a 5.16 ERA • Dominated at home, recording a perfect ERA with a .193 opponent batting average in 16 1/3 innings of work • Made his SEC Tournament debut May 23 against No. 7 Florida, pitching a scoreless inning • Recorded the win April 15 vs. Alcorn State with 4 2/3 shutout innings out of the bullpen, his longest career relief outing • Picked up his first career win with a quality start March 1 vs. Michigan State, tossing six shutout stanzas with three hits allowed and four strikeouts • Made his collegiate debut Feb. 16 vs. Western Carolina, tossing two scoreless innings • Earned his first career start Feb. 23 vs. Holy Cross in game two of the doubleheader • Played summer ball for the Lima Locos, where along with MSU teammate Matt Spruill helped win the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League regular season championship • Rated the number two pro prospect in the GLSCL by Baseball America.
