with 49 strikeouts in 56.0 innings • Made six of his nine SEC starts on
Saturdays, earning wins at Tennessee (May 7) and at Ole
Miss (May 13) • Tossed his second career
nine-inning complete game (fifth complete game overall and MSU staff-first in
2011) in State's NCAA
Atlanta Regional-clinching 7-3 win
over No. 9 Georgia Tech (June 5) • Allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits with six

Island (Feb. 19) • Worked a
season-longest and staff third-longest 8.0 innings in his second outing,
allowing one run with six hits and a season-high six strikeouts in a
no-decision start against Southeastern
Louisiana (Feb. 26) • Took the loss
against No. 15 Oklahoma (Mar. 12) in the opening game of the Whataburger College Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas • Registered his lone win of the
