2014: Hit .273 in 24 games, collecting five RBIs, three doubles, three walks and two runs scored • All 10 of his starts came at DH • Went 11-for-32 in non-conference games (.344), but hit just .083 in SEC competition (1-for-12) • Recorded a pinch-hit double against Tennessee in the 4-3, 12-inning win on May 11 • Collected an RBI base hit and a walk in the April 15 victory against Alcorn State • Drove in the game-winning run as a pinch hitter Feb. 28 vs. Michigan State • Tallied three RBIs, two hits, a double and a run in the Feb. 25 win vs. Mount St. Mary’s • Cranked out a career-high four hits Feb. 22 vs. Holy Cross in game one of the doubleheader • Recorded his first career hit Feb. 14 vs. Western Carolina • Named an all-star as a member of the Lima Locos of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League in summer 2014 • Member of the 2014 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter and four-time letter winner at Sparkman High School • Coached by Kellen Greer • Paced the Senators at the plate with a .403 batting average, 39 RBIs, a school-record 21 doubles and six home runs in 2012 • First-Team Louisville Slugger High School All-American, First-Team Rawlings Southeast All-Region Team and Alabama Sports Writers Association First-Team 6A All-State selection • Started behind the dish in all 50 games for the 28-22 Senators • Also drew 22 walks and was hit by a pitch nine times • Hit .419 and paced SHS with 40 RBIs, eight home runs and 31 walks his junior season in 2011 • Notched a 19-game hitting streak • Selected to play in the 2011 Alabama North-South All-Star Baseball Game • Played summer league baseball alongside MSU teammate John Marc Shelly on the Memphis-based Dulin’s Dodgers, coached by Tim Dulin, the same program which produced three-time MLB All-Star and two-time World Series Champion Matt Cain.
