- Placed 16th after running a time of 1:24.04 in the 600m run at the Purple Tiger Invite
- At the Commodore Invite, Castillo posted a time of 48.23 to finish fourth in the 400m dash
- Part of the 4x400m relay team that brought home first place at the Commodore Invite with a time of 3:09.56.
- Finished sixth in the 400m dash with a time of 47.93 at the Vanderbilt Invite
- Ran in the distance medley relay at the Armory Track Invite. The realy team finished fourth with a time of 9:59.12.
