2016: Appeared in 20 games for MSU, all in relief โข Made his Diamond Dawg debut on Feb. 21 against South Dakota State in which he struck out five and walked just one in two shutout innings โข Earned his first career win in the marathon 14-inning affair at Vanderbilt on March 18, pitching 2.1 innings of perfect relief with a pair of strikeouts โข Against Georgia on March 25, earned the win by pitching 3.0 innings of one-hit, shutout relief โข Earned his third win of the year on March 29 against Southern Miss at Trustmark Park in Pearl, going 2.2 innings and allowing just a pair of hits while striking out three โข Pitched a career-best 5.0 innings at Florida on April 9, striking out four batters and allowing just one run on four hits to earn the win against the top-ranked Gators โข Struck out a career-best six batters on May 21 against Arkansas in 4.2 innings of relief, earning the win to seal the Bulldogsโ first SEC regular season title since 1989 โข Earned his lone save of the season against Louisiana Tech in game two of the NCAA Starkville Regional on June 5, pitching 3.0 perfect innings of relief with four strikeouts โข Played summer ball for the Cotuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod Baseball League alongside fellow MSU pitcher Jared Padgett โข Made 11 relief appearances and compiled a 1-3 record with a 2.16 ERA and a save โข Struck out 12 batters in 16.2 innings pitched.
