2017: Prior to the season, was named No. 47 in Perfect Game’s Top 100 college sophomores and the No. 12 SEC prospect in 2018 draft (Perfect Game) • Hit his first career home run on Feb. 19 in the win against Texas Tech • Hit his second career long ball on March 7 against No. 24 Louisiana Tech • Went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a pair of stolen bases on March 14 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff • Went 2-for-4 with a triple on March 26 against Tennessee • Earned first career win on the mound after throwing the final 2.2 innings while striking out two and allowing no runs on just one hit, against Alabama April 21.
2016: Redshirted during his first season on campus • Played summer ball for the Sanford River Rats of the Florida Collegiate League alongside fellow Diamond Dawg Jacob Billingsley • Hit .313 with six doubles, a triple and a home run while driving in 16 runs in 32 games.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2014 and 2015 Perfect Game All-American • 2015 Jackson (Miss.) Clarion Ledger All-State selection after hitting .349 in 37 games with 19 runs scored and 17 RBIs • Recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage his senior season • Won 2015 state championship with current MSU teammate Keegan James • Hit .372 with 28 RBIs as a junior in 2014, leading the squad to the North State championship and runner-up finish • Played travel ball for the Dulins Dodgers alongside teammates Luke Alexander, Trysten Barlow, Keegan James, Jake Mangum and Hunter Stovall.
