Bio
2017: Went 3-for-3 off the bench at Oregon on March 4 with his first hits as a Bulldog • Went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Tennessee on March 26 • Belted a pinch-hit, three-RBI homer against Kentucky on April 9 • Hit a two-run homer in game one of a doubleheader vs. Auburn on April 29 • Went 3-for-4 vs. Auburn in game two • Went 2-for-4 at Southern Miss in the Hattiesburg Regional championship game • Batted 2-4 while batting two runs in vs. LSU in Game Two of the Baton Rouge Super Regional.
SUMMER LEAGUE: Played in the California Collegiate League for the San Luis Obispo Blues • Hit four doubles, two triples and two homers while driving in 18 runs.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played two seasons for Tacoma JC in Washington, the same junior college that former MSU infielder Seth Heck played for before coming to MSU, and was named a Rawlings All-American • As a sophomore in 2016, hit .355 with 33 runs scored, 14 doubles, three triples and six homers while driving in 44 runs • Led the Titans in hits, doubles and RBIs in 2016 • Hit .306 as a freshman in 2015 with a team-high seven homers while driving in 28 runs • 2016 Northwest-Pacific Association ABCA/Rawlings Northwest All-Region first team • Advanced to the finals of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League home run derby in summer 2015 while a member of the Glens Falls Dragons in New York.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lakes High School in Lakewood, Washington • Coached by Scott Shellgren • Hit .304 with 56 RBI, 17 doubles, six triples and four homers in four seasons and was named All-State in 2014 • As a senior in 2014, owned a .397 clip with 27 RBI and three homers, all team-highs • In his junior year, hit .295 with 19 RBI • Hit .297 with five RBI and five doubles as a sophomore in 2012.
