2017: Named to the 2017 Sring SEC Acadmic Honor Roll • Made 24 relief appearances and saw 29.1 innings of action as a junior, while earning three wins and a save • Threw career-highs in innings pitched (3.0) and strikeouts (5) in shutout relief for his first career save against Columbia on March 13 • Earned first win after throwing a career-high 5.1 innings in relief vs. Kentucky April 9 • Pitched an inning of shutout relief to earn second win on April 15 at South Carolina • Earned third win after pitching a perfect 2.1 innings of relief against Troy on May 16 • Allowed just one run over 3.1 innings of relief in MSU’s Regional Championship-clinching win vs. Southern Miss June 5 • Competed with the Waynesboro Generals in the Valley League during the summer.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Named to the 2016 Top Junior College Players to Watch list by Collegiate Baseball • Ranked as the 49th best Junior College prospect by Perfect Game • Fastball was recorded at 94 mph in 2016 • Pitched 32.1 innings with 25 K’s while going 2-2 with a 3.62 ERA in his Sophomore season at Hinds Community College • Struck out 18 batters in 15.1 innings in his Freshman year.
