- Ran a personal-best 48.96 in the 400m dash at the Vanderbilt Invitational.
- With a personal-best 1:51.63, Shoto placed 10th in the 800m run at the Spire Invitational.
- Finished second in the 600m run at the Spire Invitational with a time of 1:19.22.
- Placed fourth in the 500m run with a time of 1:04.81 at the UAB Invitational.
- Part of the 4x800m relay team that placed second at the New Balance Invitational with a time of 7:33.05.
