- Also at the Border Clash, Pizarro finished third in the 400m hurdles after running a time of 54.84.
- Ran a personal-best 54.22 in the 400m hurdles to capture fifth place at the Jace LaCoste Invitational.

- With a time of 8.53, he finished 13th in the 60m hurdles at the Vanderbilt Invitational.
- Ran 37.44 in the 300m dash to finish 38th at the UAB Invitational.
