Bulldogs Open Play At GT Fall Invite

ATLANTA – Four members of the Mississippi State men's tennis team are set compete in the GT Fall Invite.
Starting on Friday morning, junior Michal Novansky and sophomores Roberto Ferrer Guimaraes, Marshall Landry and Radomir Tomic take the courts at Georgia Tech's Ken Byars Tennis Complex against the homestanding Yellow Jackets as well as Alabama, Liberty, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Yale.
Landry found success at the GT Fall Invite last year, going 3-0 alongside then partner Nemanja Malesevic to claim the doubles championship.
The Bulldog quartet will compete in both singles and doubles during the three-day event.
MSU begins Friday's action with doubles at 8Â a.m. CT as Ferrer Guimaraes and Landry take on Liberty's Ernst Gouws and Carl Roothman at the same time Novansky and Tomic play against Loan Lestir and Benjamin Martin of Ole Miss.
Singles is set to start at 9Â a.m. with Landry matching up against Georgia Tech's Owen DeMuth and Tomic also battling a Yellow Jacket in Rohan Sachdev. Novansky meets Liberty's Chase Robinson while Ferrer Guimaraes squares off against the Flames' Siwanat Auytayakul.
