Rudolph, Ross In Top 10 At USA Individual

STARKVILLE, Miss. – A couple of Bulldogs played their way into the Top 10 of the leaderboard at the USA Individual Monday at Magnolia Grove Falls Golf Course in Mobile, Ala.
In his debut, freshman Goodman Rudolph shot a 1-over 72 that put him in a tie for fourth place after one round.
"It was really fun to play my first college round and get a taste of college competition," Rudolph said. "[Assistant coach Charlie Ewing] and I worked well together today, and I played really well mentally today."
Jacob Ross, a senior, finished the day right behind Rudolph in a tie for sixth with a 2-over 73.
Hunter Hammett and Austin Fulton, also debuting freshmen, finished tied for 19th and 34th, respectively.
Play was suspended during the second round of the tournament, and will continue at 8 a.m. CT Tuesday.
The 40-player field is led by Florida State's Parker Reddig, who shot a 1-under 70 Monday.
