Bio
Veteran swing-position player who joins Piotr Stelmach as one of only two seniors on this year’s State squad... Versatile left-hander who’s capable of playing at either the shooting-guard or small forward positions... Appears fully recovered from last year’s season-ending left knee injury (sprained medial collateral ligament) sustained in the first three minutes of MSU’s game at Arkansas (March 1)... Completed his junior campaign ranked fourth on the team in both scoring (10.1 ppg) and rebounding (4.9 rpg) as a 19-game starter for the Bulldogs... His cousin, Murriel Page, was an all-SEC standout at the University of Florida and is a nine-year veteran of the WNBA.
Ranked as MSU’s fourth-leading scorer (10.1 ppg) and No. 4 rebounder (4.9 rpg) last season, including 10.0 points (3rd on team) and 5.8 rebounds (15th in SEC) per conference outing... Averaged 26.1 minutes per game on the season... His junior season ended March 1 when he sustained a sprained MCL in his left knee three minutes into State’s game at Arkansas... More than tripled his scoring average a year ago and better than doubled his rebounding average from his sophomore campaign... Also improved his overall field-goal percentage from 40 percent as a sophomore to a career-high 49.5 percent in 2005-06...
