2006-07:
Averaged 7.3 points, 3.2 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game as a collegiate rookie to earn selection to the Coaches SEC All-Freshman Team... Saw action in all 35 contests (23.6 mins/gm) with nine early-season starts... Became the third MSU freshman in school history to hand out 100 or more assists (112) in a season... Ranked 14th in the SEC overall in assists and eighth in assist/turnover ratio (1.72)... Stood fourth in the league in assist/turnover ratio (2.18) for conference games only... Connected on 47 shots from beyond the three-point arc to rank third on the school’s freshman single-season chart, while his 41.2 percent three-point shooting accuracy stands eighth on MState’s all-time single-season list... Paced all SEC freshmen in assists and three-point field-goal percentage on the year, along with rating as the league’s No. 8 freshman scorer... High School, as accorded by the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association as well as the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association... Also made first-team all-region and collected all-conference honors three consecutive seasons in helping lead the Mules to a four-year composite record of 91-21, including back-to-back state championships in 2003-04 and 2004-05... Named Mr. Show-Me Basketball and was selected the 2005-06 SEMO Conference Player of the Year (John Gibbs Award) after averaging 24.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 3.9 steals per game as a senior... Helped lead coach Travis Brown’s Mules to a 21-6 overall record, including a third consecutive SEMO Conference crown and fifth straight district title... Totaled 1,577 points (2nd in school history; 14.1 ppg), 585 rebounds (5.2 rpg) and 493 assists (19th all-time in state history; 4.4 apg) during his four-year high school career, along with shooting 53 percent from the field overall (hitting 142 career treys) and 75 percent from the charity stripe... Had his No. 23 retired at the conclusion of his prep career... Shot 52 percent from the field, 43 percent from beyond the arc and 78 percent from the line as a senior in leading Poplar Bluff in virtually every statistical category... Collected first-team all-state, all-region and all-conference honors as a junior after averaging 17.1 points, 6.4 assists and 5.2 rebounds per contest in helping lead coach John David Pattillo’s Poplar Bluff squad to a 27-4 overall record and a second straight Class 5A state championship... Averaged 9.2 points, 4.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds per outing as a sophomore starter and second-team all-conference performer in helping pace the 25-6 Mules to their first of two consecutive state titles.
