After sitting out the 2006-07 campaign following his transfer from Louisville to Mississippi State, Brian Johnson quickly developed into one of Mississippi State's top reserves off the bench. Inspiring, one might suggest, considering this tented frontcourt performer has endured three surgeries on his knee within a six-month period to repair a torn lateral meniscus. His injuries, though, weren't a detriment and he logged minutes in 33 of the Bulldogs' 34 games, including MSU's two NCAA Tournament outings against Oregon and Memphis.
