FALL:
- Opened the fall by making a run to the round of 16 in singles play at the 2013 SEC Fall Classic
- Teamed with senior Malte Stropp, made a run to the finals of the 2013 SEC Fall Classic, including defeating Florida’s No. 60 duo of Mike Alford/Florent Diep and Texas A&M’s 12th-ranked Harrison Adams/Shane Vinsant
- With Stropp, defeated Texas’ No. 29 tandem of David Holiner and Nick Naumann to reach the round of 16 at the 2013 ITA All-American Championships
- Made a run to the round of 16 singles at the 2013 USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships, as well as the round of 16 doubles with Stropp.
SPRING:
- Began his sophomore spring campaign on a eight-match winning streak, the second-straight season he has began a spring season on an impressive winning streak
- Earned his two ranked victories for the season in his eight-match winning streak, downing No. 81 Sebastian Beltrame of Harvard and No. 87 Johnny Grimal of Memphis during the 2014 ITA Kick Off Weekend in Starkville
- Clinched two matches on the year for MSU, helping MSU capture victories against LSU and No. 71 Arkansas in the heart of SEC play
- Bested his eight-match winning streak to start the year with nine-consecutive victories towards the end of his sophomore campaign
- Spent all but four matches for 2013-14 with Malte Stropp in doubles, earning a 20-12 record overall and going 13-8 in spring play
- The duo spent all season at the No. 1 position for the Bulldogs, with four of their 13 dual-match wins coming against ranked opponents
- The highest ranked victory for the tandem came against sixth-ranked Junior Ore and Jackson Withrow of Texas A&M, which helped propel them into the 2014 NCAA Doubles Championship
- Paired with Stropp, earned his second-straight NCAA Doubles Championship bid, reaching the round of 16
- With the graduation of Stropp, the MSU top duo finished with a career record of 41-29, earning 16 ranked victories and 23 wins in dual match play

FALL:
- Opened his career as a Bulldog with a run to the semifinals of Doubles Division I at the 2012 Southern Intercollegiate Championships with Pedro Dumont
- Along with junior teammate Malte Stropp, defeated the 6th-ranked duo of John Collins and Hunter Reese of Tennessee and 17th-ranked David Hopkins and Amogh Prabhakar of Wake Forest on the way to a quarterfinals placing in the ITA All-American Championships
- Highlighted his first fall with the Bulldogs by capturing the doubles title with Malte Stropp at the 2012 USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships, defeating Southern Miss’ Matt Frost and Andrew Goodwin for the crown
- Also made a run to the singles quarterfinals of the 2012 Southern Regionals, including defeating 58th-ranked Daniil Proskura of Alabama in the 3rd round
- Again paired with Stropp, the duo made a run to the quarterfinal of the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, including a 9-8(5) victory against Armstrong Atlantic State's Dan Regan and Georgi Rumenov
SPRING:
- Picked up two ranked wins in singles (Highest coming vs. No. 67 Shane Vinsant of Texas A&M) and seven ranked victories in doubles play (Highest coming vs. No. 1 Andreas Mies/Dan Cochrane of Auburn)
- Opened up his MSU career with a 6-4, 6-1 victory against Texas Tech's Felip Soares
- Helped MSU to its first appearance at the ITA National Team Indoors since 1999 with wins against LSU's Tam Trinh (6-0, 6-3) and Auburn's Dennis Lengsfeld (6-3, 6-3)
- Teamed up with Stropp to defeat Ole Miss' 43rd-ranked duo of Jonas Lutjen and Nik Scholtz, en route to helping the Bulldogs capture the crucial doubles point at the 2013 River Hills Cup
- Defeated Johan Backstrom of Ole Miss 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 to clinch the 10th-ranked Bulldogs' 4-2 victory against the No. 12 Rebels to claim their second consecutive River Hills Cup and fourth-straight victory against their in-state rival
- Paired with Stropp, defeated Auburn No. 1 nationally ranked duo of Dan Cochrane and Andreas Mies 9-8(4) in perhaps the duo’s biggest win to date
- With weekend victories against opponents from Samford and Middle Tennessee, Angus moved to 11-0, the best start by a freshman in recorded MSU history
- With Stropp, earned their fifth win against a ranked tandem, coming back from down 5-0 to defeat Kentucky's No. 23 duo of Tom Jomby and Kevin Lai 9-8(0)
- Downed the Austin Peay duo of Sean Bailey and Jasmin Ademovic 8-6 to help MSU clinch the doubles point in the First Round of the 2013 NCAA Championship in Starkville, Miss
- Clinched MSU’s first trip to the NCAA Championships Round of 16 for the first time since 2001 with a three-set victory against Harvard’s Alex Steinroeder
- Defeated N.C. State's Dave Thomson and Sean Weber 7-6(5), 6-1 in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Individual Championships
- Battled hard, but fell to eventual 2013 NCAA Doubles Champions Jermere Jenkins and Mac Styslinger of Virginia in three sets
Pre-Mississippi State
- Attended Parmiter's School in London, England
- A top 100 junior that is considered to be one of the very best British players entering into the collegiate system
- Sports a personal-best world junior ranking of No. 74 by the International Tennis Federation (ITF)
- Has won numerous singles and doubles titles on the world junior circuit
- Competed in the Junior Wimbledon during the 2012 summer

- The son of Eric and Beverly Angus and has one older brother, Niall, who played for the Texas A&M men's tennis program from 2009-13
- The right-hander enjoys playing soccer in his free time
- Angus chose Mississippi State because of the coaches, players and facilities
