JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Started 55 of his 75 games played during two seasons playing for coach Mark Carson at Northwest Mississippi Community College ? Hit .338, scored 31 runs and drove in 29 more in helping the Rangers post a 40-17 record, capture the Region 23 championship and claim a fourth-place finish in the 2007 NJCAA Division II College World Series ? Legged out 13 doubles, three triples and hit three home runs ? Stole nine bases in 10 attempts ? Played in 48 games with 42 starts in left field and right field ? Played in 27 games with 13 starts and hit .261 as a freshman at Northwest in 2006.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Three-year regular in the outfield at Senatobia High School ? Played for coach Chad Sinquefield ? Starred in center field for the Warriors as a senior in 2005, hitting .380 with two home runs and 35 RBI ? All-district who helped guide SHS to a 21-11 record, the district and north half championship and to runner-up honors for the Class 3A state title ?
