Played at Brandon High School for coach Daniel Best โฆ Played on varsity for all four years, and led his team to a South State Title โฆ He was an All-State selection in 2022 while also being selected to Mississippi baseballโs Dandy Dozen, the 12 top baseball recruits in the state โฆ His batting average never dipped below a .310, and in his junior year, his ERA was 1.80 โฆ He also threw a perfect game while pitching for Brandon High.
