Named SEC Freshman of the Week following the opening weekend… Appeared in 36 games, while making 27 starts… Started in the outfield or at DH… Went 33-for-100 on the season and compiled a .330 batting average… Had six extra-base hits, four doubles and two home runs… Drove in 22 runs… Drew 20 walks, the eighth most on the team… Had an on-base percentage of .444 on the season… Was a perfect 5-for-5 on stolen bases… Scored 24 runs ... VMI (2/17-19): Went 7-for-12 on opening weekend, while also reaching twice on walks... Picked up seven total RBIs on the weekend...In game one, he picked up his first collegiate hit, first collegiate home run, and first career stolen base...Named first SEC Freshman of the Week of the 2023 season. ULM (2/21-22): Extended his hit streak to five after picking up a home run in game one and a RBI-single in game two, while also reaching on a walk. Prepped at Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Miss.) before signing with the Bulldogs...Selected as a 2021 High School First Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball...Named a 2021 Rawlings-Perfect Game Senior Preseason Honorable Mention selection for the Southeast Region...Hit .481 as a senior with 14 doubles, a triple and nine home runs, while also driving in 47 runs in his final prep season.
