2017: Made 16 appearances, 13 of them starts, in his junior season and collected 52.2 innings pitched • Developed into Sunday starter for the Bulldogs later in the season • Named to the 2017 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll • Fanned a career-best six batters in his first career start against Morehead State on Feb. 21 • Earned career-high seven strikeouts against Louisiana Tech March 7 in 5.0 innings of shutout work, tying a career-high innings pitched • Did not pitch for almost a month after start against Columbia, first start since came April 11 against Mississippi Valley State, as he picked up six strikeouts over 5.0 innings to earn his first win of the season • Struck out six over 5.0 shutout innings at South Carolina April 16 • In Regional play vs. host Southern Miss June 5, threw first complete game to earn second win while only giving up one run • Started six games in the prestigious Cape Cod League for the Harwich Mariners, throwing 29.2 innings while maintaining a 3.94 ERA • Recipient of the George Lane Sportsmanship Award in the Cape Cod League.
2016: Made 12 appearances out of the bullpen for the Diamond Dawgs, earning a save and holding a 1.80 ERA • Allowed just two runs (both earned) on 10 hits • Struck out 14 batters while walking just three • Made his much-awaited collegiate debut on Feb. 19 in a relief role against FAU • Pitched 2.1 shutout innings in the Governor’s Cup victory against Ole Miss on April 26, in which he allowed just two hits and struck out three and earned the save • Played summer league baseball for the Sanford River Rats of the Florida Collegiate League • Earned second-team All-Florida League honors after striking out 31 batters over 23.0 IP and holding a 2.34 ERA in eight appearances (five starts).
2015: Sat out entire redshirt freshman campaign after undergoing surgery to remove bone chips from throwing shoulder.
2014: Redshirted his first year on campus • Played summer ball for the Bethesda Big Train in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League, where he was named an All-Star • Finished the summer 1-0 with a perfect 0.00 ERA, striking out 16 in seven relief appearances • Held opponents in the CRCBL to a .068 average in 14 2/3 innings of work.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Magnolia Heights in Senatobia, Miss. • Earned 2013 MaxPreps Baseball Medium Schools Second-Team All-America honors • 2013 MAIS Player of the Year • Named to the Rawlings 2013 Preseason Southeast Region Team as an honorable mention selection • 2013 Southern Sports and Travel Player of the Year • Won back-to-back state championships his junior and senior season (37-0 and 33-5) • Went a perfect 10-0 as the team captain with a 0.54 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 51 2/3 innings pitched in 2013 en route to first-team all-state honors • Owned a 1.75 ERA with a 12-2 mark as a junior in 48.0 innings tossed.
