Sidelined by stress fracture in his pitching elbow ? One of 20 MSU players named to the 2007 SEC Baseball Academic Honor Roll.
2006:
Saw limited duty after undergoing preseason sports hernia surgery ? Appeared in one game as a sophomore, working 1-2/3 innings in relief in MSU’s 13-12 loss at Louisiana Tech (Apr. 4) ? Among a school-record 21 Diamond Dogs named to the 2006 SEC Baseball Academic Honor Roll Pitched during the summer for Athletes in Action in the Alaska League.
2005:
Sat out the 2005 campaign as a redshirt ? Named to the 2005 SEC Baseball Academic Honor Roll.
2004:
Pitched in eight games as a true freshman, all in relief ? Did not have a decision but compiled a 3.48 earned run average with seven strikeouts in 10.1 innings out of the pen ? Made his Mississippi State debut against Birmingham-Southern (Mar. 23) ? Struck out a season-high three, walked one and allowed a single in two innings of scoreless relief ? Worked a season-longest 3.0 innings against Mississippi (Apr. 2) ? Did not allow an earned run in his first nine innings (six appearances) ? Made relief appearances in conference play (2.50 ERA in 6.0 innings) at LSU, against Mississippi and Florida at Dudy Noble Field, and at Vanderbilt ?
