2022 (Junior Season)
Season: Appeared and started three games on the mound, prior to injury. Made his first collegiate start against Long Beach State (2/18) throwing 7.0 innings and striking out 13, a career high and team high for the year.
2021 (Sophomore Season)
Season: Appeared in 25 games as a reliever/closer for the Bulldogs...Posted a 5-0 record with a 1.44 ERA and 13 saves in 56.1 innings...Allowed 9 runs (all earned) and 29 hits, while striking out 100 and allowing just 15 walks on the season…Held opposing hitters to a .149 average.
2021 State Farm College Baseball Showdown (2/20-22): vs. Texas (2/20): Pitched 4.0 innings of scoreless relief work, while striking out a season-high 10 batters to earn his first win of the campaign. Tulane (2/27): Pitched 3.2 innings in relief, while striking out 10, walking two and allowing one earned run and three hits in a no-decision. Kent State (3/7): Struck out two and walked one while not allowing a hit in one inning of relief. UL-Lafayette (3/10): Held the Ragin’ Cajuns scoreless and struck out five while allowing three hits in two innings of work. Eastern Michigan (3/14): Earned his first save of the season after facing the minimum and striking out three in one inning. LSU (3/20): Held the Tigers scoreless while striking out two and allowing two hits in 2.0 innings to earn the save. Arkansas (3/28): Struck out five and walked four in 3.2 innings to earn the no-decision versus the Razorbacks. Kentucky (4/2): Picked up the win after pitching two innings in relief while striking out two and holding the Wildcats scoreless. Auburn (4/9): Struck out four and did not allow a hit in two innings to earn his third save of the season. Ole Miss (4/16-4/18): Made two appearances on the mound over the three-game series versus the Rebels…Struck out three and earned the save after pitching 2.0 innings of relief in the series opener…Closed out the series finale by striking out one in an inning of work to earn his second save of the weekend. Vanderbilt (4/24): Struck out six, walked one and allowed a run on two hits in 2.2 innings of relief work in a no-decision. Texas A&M (4/30): Had seven strikeouts, one walk and held the Aggies hitless in 3.0 innings of work to earn his third win of the season. South Carolina (5/8): Totaled three strikeouts and did not allow a hit in 2.0 innings to earn the save against the Gamecocks. Missouri (5/13): Did not allow a hit and struck out four in 2.0 innings to earn the save. Alabama (5/20-5/22): Struck out five and allowed just one hit in 2.0 innings to earn the save in the series opener…Closed out the weekend with an inning of relief work, while striking out one and holding Alabama scoreless in the finale. Starkville Regional (6/4-6/7): Struck out four and held the Camels scoreless in three innings of relief vs. Campbell (6/7). Starkville Super Regional vs. Notre Dame (6/12-6/14): Made two relief appearances in the Super Regional, combining for seven strikeouts in 6.0 innings…Earned the save in the series opener after striking out three and holding the Fighting Irish scoreless in 2.0 innings…Struck out four, while allowing two runs (both earned) on three hits in 4.0 innings to earn the win and send State to its 12th College World Series. College World Series (6/20-6/30): Made four appearances in the College World Series, combining to pitch 10.0 innings of relief while striking out 15 and allowing just one run on four hits.
