2023 (Senior)
Season: Made seven appearances for the Dawgs on the season, making two starts on the bump… Pitched 9.2 innings on the season… Held a record of 2-0 while posting a 9.31 ERA… Had 13 strikeouts on the season… Picked up his first win of the year against Grambling State… Defeated UAB the next week for his second victory of the season… Pitched a season-high three innings against Ole Miss in the Governor’s Cup.
VMI (2/18): Entered the game in the third inheriting two in scoring position…gave up two runs…struck out two in 1.2 innings pitched. Grambling (4/4): Earned the win after striking out two and giving up just one run on 1.0 innings of work. UAB (4/11): Struck out one in two innings of work. Ole Miss (4/25): Struck out three Rebels in three innings of relief…held the Rebels scoreless for two of three innings pitched, giving up just one run. Tennessee (4/29): Punched out two Vols through one inning of work giving two hits and a run. Texas A&M (5/20): Entered the game in the sixth striking out two straight… earning his third strikeout to end the inning through his inning of work.
2022 (Senior Season)
Season: Appeared in 12 games, drawing six starts on the bump...Completed the season with a 4-1 record with a 6.12 ERA...Struck out 49 on the campaign in 32.1 innings of work, while allowing 23 runs (22 earned), 27 hits and 26 walks...Kept opposing hitters at a .229 average.
Grambling (3/1): Earned the win after entering in relief, earning eight strikeouts in 4.0 innings, and only giving up two hits. Texas Tech (3/8): Picked up a second win after striking out 12, a season high, in 5.0 innings, allowing three walks, one unearned run and one hit. Princeton (3/13): Drew the start and went 6.0 innings, once again striking out 12, allowing one earned run off of four hits and two walks. UAB (4/12): Allowed one hit in two innings of relief, earning a strikeout and surrendering one earned run.
2021 (Junior Season)
Season: Appeared in 17 games while making one start on the mound for the Bulldogs...Posted a 1-0 record with a 2.41 ERA and one save in 18.2 innings...Allowed 5 runs (all earned) on eight hits, while striking out 31 and issuing 16 walks on the season…Held opposing hitters to a .125 average.
Grambling (3/9): Struck out two in an inning of scoreless relief work. Eastern Michigan (3/12): Faced the minimum, striking out three in an inning of relief. Samford (3/16): Struck out three and did not allow a hit in one inning of relief. Kentucky (4/3): Picked up his first save as a Bulldog in one scoreless inning of relief versus the Wildcats. Auburn (4/10): Struck out one and held the Tigers hitless in one inning of relief work. Arkansas State (4/13): Struck out one and did not allow a hit in one inning of relief in an 18-10 midweek victory. Ole Miss (4/18): Held the Rebels scoreless in one inning of relief to help clinch a 7-5 victory. Vanderbilt (4/25): Recorded three strikeouts and did not allow a hit in 1.1 innings of work. Texas A&M (4/30): Had two strikeouts and did not allow a hit in one inning of relief in the 8-7 win over the Aggies. The Citadel (5/5): Struck out two and did not allow a run in one inning of relief. Jacksonville State (5/18): Earned his first start of the season and picked up the win after striking out a season-high four batters and not allowing a hit in 2.0 innings. Starkville Regional (6/4-6/7): Faced the minimum and struck out three in one inning to close out the 16-4 victory vs. VCU (6/5). College World Series (6/20-6/30): Made two appearances in the College World Series, combining to pitch 1.1 innings of relief while striking out one and allowing two runs (both earned) on three hits.
2020 (Sophomore Season – Northwest Mississippi C.C.)
Season: Started two games on the mound...Did not allow a run over eight innings...Posted a victory against Southwest Mississippi C.C. (2/22)...Fanned five in four scoreless, one-hit innings against Illinois Central C.C. (2/15)...Struck out six in four scoreless innings against Southwest Mississippi C.C. (2/22).
2019 (Freshman Season – Northwest Mississippi C.C.)
Awards: Named first-team Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges.
Season: Started 13 games on the mound...Posted six quality starts...Allowed three-or-fewer earned runs in 12 of 13 starts...Walked three or fewer batters in six of 13 outings...Fanned seven or more batters in four games, including one double-digit strikeout game...Collected victories over Calhoun C.C. (2/9), John Woods C.C. (3/2), Mississippi Delta C.C. (3/7), Southwest Mississippi C.C. (3/29), at Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. (4/6), East Central C.C. (4/27) and Northeast Mississippi C.C. (5/12)...Worked a season-best seven innings with a season-high 10 strikeouts in a victory over Northeast Mississippi C.C.
