Bulldogs Hosting Little Rock In Fall Exhibition

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State Baseball is set to host its fourth and final fall exhibition game at Dudy Noble Field on Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. and powered by State 1878.
The Diamond Dawgs will square off against Little Rock in the exhibition. The Trojans are coached by Chris Curry, who was a standout catcher for MSU in 1999 before playing seven seasons professionally.
Tickets are on sale now for premium season ticket holders. All remaining season ticket holders can begin purchasing tickets on Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m.
Admission is free for all MSU students that purchased an all-sport pass. All items permitted during regular season games at Dudy Noble Field will also be allowed in for this exhibition.
Little Rock won a school record 39 games last season which included the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Championship and swept through the Hattiesburg Regional before bowing out in the Troy Super Regional. State has played Little Rock nine times previously during the regular season and are 8-1 in those contests. The Bulldogs won the last meeting 15-4 in Starkville in 2019.
Mississippi State also has fall exhibition games scheduled against Auburn and Southern Miss in Biloxi at Keesler Federal Park on Oct. 9-10 respectively as well as a matchup against Western Kentucky in Jackson, Tennessee at Rockabillys Stadium on Oct. 18.
Fans are also welcome to watch the 2027 Diamond Dawgs during nine open practices at Dudy Noble Field on Sept. 18, 20, 25, 27 and Oct. 2, 4, 16, 23, 25. Individual practice times will be announced the week of on social media and admission is free.
