Veteran senior right-hander from the talent-rich Memphis area and one of the team’s three captains for 2008 ? At 6-7 one of the all-time tallest players in Mississippi State baseball history.

Made 21 relief appearances used primarily in a setup role as a junior ? Compiled a 3-1 record with three saves and a 4.17 earned run average ? Led MSU’s bullpen with 54 strikeouts in 49-2/3 innings of relief ? Picked up wins in relief stints against Jacksonville State (Mar. 7), Memphis (Mar. 28) and against Clemson (June 8) in the NCAA Starkville Super Regional ? Lone loss came in a 3-2 extra-inning setback at Austin Peay (May 8) ? Earned saves in the series opener at Florida (Mar. 16), against Southern Miss (Apr. 24) and at Georgia (May 11) ? Established career-highs with 11 strikeouts and 6-2/3 innings pitched in MSU’s 4-2 opening weekend win over Marist College (Feb. 26) ? Tied with Brooks Dunn for most strikeouts in a game by a Bulldog pitcher in 2006 ? Made his collegiate debut and earned his first career win against Jackson State (Mar. 9), retiring all nine batters faced ? eight via strikeout ? Earned his second win with a solid 4-1/3 inning relief appearance against New Orleans (Mar. 22) ? Drew midweek starts in his final five appearances, notching wins over Louisiana-Monroe (Apr. 12), Birmingham-Southern (May 9) and UT-Martin (May 17) ? Worked a career-longest 6.0 innings in a no-decision start against Southern Miss (Apr. 26) and again against UT-Martin in his final 2005 appearance ?
