November 14, 2024 | Volleyball
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State head coach Julie Darty Dennis and her staff added two pieces to their 2025 recruiting class on Wednesday in the form of two outside hitters, Hailey Campagna and Lindsey Mangelson.
"This is a special pair of people and players," head coach Julie Darty Dennis said. "Hailey and Lindsey both have achieved at the highest levels during their club and high school careers, and they continue to push and compete the right way. We are excited that they have chosen to be part of the Bulldog volleyball family, and we're excited for their futures here."
Campagna, a native of Dublin, Ohio, amassed over 2,000 career kills in her four seasons at the high school level. She became one of four players to ever achieve that mark in the state of Ohio. She was named to the All-Ohio teams all four years, with her last three being first team nominations.
Mangelson set numerous records at Hamilton Southeastern. The Fishers, Indiana native finished her senior season with 529 kills, the most of any player in the history of that program. She helped lead her team to a pair of 4A state championships in 2022 and 2023 and was named to All-Indiana first teams in 2023 and 2024. She finished her career being named to the AVCA All-Region team in region five.
