Bulldogs To Compete In The Inaugural Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State volleyball is set to host Iowa and Northwestern in the Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge in the 2026 season.
The challenge will be a week-long string of games held between Big Ten and SEC schools. The week will be highlighted by outdoor matches between Nebraska and Missouri and Penn State and Kentucky at Wrigley Field.
State will host the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Northwestern Wildcats on September 3 and 4, with both matches to be streamed on SECN+. This will be the second matchup against Northwestern and the first against Iowa in program history.
The Griss will also host the neutral matches between Alabama, Iowa and Northwestern.
These matches are the first announced for the 2026 season. The full schedule for the Big Ten/SEC Challenge can be viewed below.
