No. 6 MSU To Raise National Finalist Banner Sunday

STARKVILLE – Another National Finalist banner will be hoisted into the rafters of Humphrey Coliseum Sunday afternoon prior to No. 6 Mississippi State's game with Coppin State.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m., with the banner-raising ceremony taking place at 1:40 p.m. Tip is set for 2 p.m.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free replica National Finalist banner.
Fans can purchase tickets online at HailState.com/Tickets up to four hours before tip at the price of $5 for adults and $3 for youth age 17 and under. Walk-up general admission tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for youth.
MSU students get in free with a valid student ID, and Bully's Kids Club members also get free admission with their membership card.
Fans unable to attend can stream the game on SEC Network + via WatchESPN.com or the WatchESPN app.
The radio broadcast can be heard on the MSU radio network, as well as online at www.HailState.com/Plus and the TuneIn app.
Games and inflatables will be available for families at Bully's Kidz Kourt inside Mize Pavilion starting at 12:30 p.m.
Vic Schaefer's Bulldogs improved to 3-0 on the season with a 104-53 win against Lamar Thursday night. The victory was the Bulldogs' 39th-straight win in regular-season non-conference games, and it was MSU's 22nd win in a row inside Humphrey Coliseum, the fifth-longest active home win streak in the nation.
State kept that win streak alive behind five double-figure scorers. Senior Anriel Howard led the way with her best game as a Bulldog, tallying her 34th-career double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
Howard scored 21 of her 24 points in a second half that saw the Bulldogs set school records with a 42-point third quarter and 69 points over the final 20 minutes.
Senior Teaira McCowan notched her third double-double of the season with 11 points and 16 rebounds. It was her ninth in a row going back to last season and the 42nd of her career, the fourth-most among active NCAA Division I players.
McCowan also blocked five of MSU's 12 shots in the game, the most by a Bulldog squad since 2016.
The Brenham, Texas, native tops the country in swats with 5.3 per game, helping her team to the top mark nationally in the category as well with 10.3 per game.
The top scoring offense in the SEC this season also got 11 points from Chloe Bibby, her third-straight game with 10-plus points, a career-high 15 points from Jordan Danberry and 10 points, eight rebounds and four blocks from freshman Jessika Carter.
Coppin State comes to Starkville 0-3 on the year after falling 57-52 to UMBC in its home opener. The Eagles began the year with road losses at West Virginia and Maryland.
Chance Graham tops CSU in scoring and in rebounds. She averages 14.3 points and 12.3 rebounds.
Following Sunday's game, State wraps a four-game homestand with a pair of 2 p.m. contests over Thanksgiving week. MSU hosts Furman Wednesday and then caps the week Saturday against Jackson State.
