SEC Names Mississippi State’s 2027 Conference Schedule Designations

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced the home and away opponents for the upcoming season for Mississippi State and the other 15 teams in the league on Tuesday morning.
The conference schedule consists of a single round robin of home or away (14 games) with one rotating opponent that will be played at home and away (2 games). Each team will play eight home games and eight away games. The rotating opponent changes annually. This marks the 18th season of the 16-game schedule for women's basketball.
Six of the 10 SEC teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season will play the Bulldogs inside of Humphrey Coliseum. Those six include Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Oklahoma. Texas A&M and Arkansas round out the home conference slate for the Bulldogs, with the Razorbacks being the only team that the Bulldogs will face twice this season.
On top of a return trip to Fayetteville, the Bulldogs will hit the road to face Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri and Vanderbilt this upcoming season. The Wildcats, Commodores, Bulldogs of Athens and Tigers of Baton Rouge are all coming off NCAA Tournament seasons.
The regular season will conclude with the 2027 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greeneville, South Carolina, marking the 10th time the city has hosted the SEC Tournament. The tournament will begin on Wednesday, March 3 and conclude with the championship game on Sunday, March 7.
